[Poem] The Resuscitated Heart

What lingers within we suffer without.

It’s a difficult thing to face the demons inside you.

We’re all subject to the torments of a restless soul.

We feel, we react.

We feel, we react.

Sometimes, our reactions defy our feelings and, if we’re lucky, we’re left with regret.
